VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory of materials, supplies, and services that support both production and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a keen sense for cost management, and the ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships. What You’ll Do
- Source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials, components, and services to support production and business operations
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future material needs to prevent shortages or excess stock
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with production and project teams to meet material requirements and timelines
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve procurement processes
- Resolve any issues with deliveries, quality, or invoicing in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and supplier databases
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management (manufacturing or construction industry preferred)
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
