VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Plant Production Manager to join our growing team. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team focused on excellence and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage a fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the success and growth of a well-established and respected manufacturing company.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee and manage all daily plant production activities to meet established goals for safety, quality, and productivity
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate workflow to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing output
• Lead, mentor, and develop production team members, fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture
• Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Collaborate with other departments (Purchasing, Engineering, Quality Control, and Logistics) to support operational efficiency and problem-solving
• Track production metrics and prepare reports for management on key performance indicators
• Implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to long-term operational goals

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment (preferably in the door, window, or related building products industry)
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
• Solid understanding of production processes, workflow optimization, and quality control practices
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Proficiency with production management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Post-secondary education in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field is an asset
