VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Commercial Glazing Project Coordinator to join our growing Commercial Division. This role is responsible for coordinating commercial glazing projects from award through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, estimators, suppliers, customers, and field installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate commercial glazing, storefront, curtain wall, and aluminum entrance projects from start to finish
  • Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and shop drawings
  • Prepare and submit shop drawings, product data, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation
  • Coordinate material ordering, deliveries, and fabrication schedules with suppliers and production teams
  • Schedule field crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project timelines
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively communicate delays or changes
  • Track project costs, change orders, extras, and purchase orders
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, architects, general contractors, and consultants
  • Assist Project Managers with project administration and documentation
  • Attend project meetings when required
  • Ensure projects comply with safety requirements, specifications, and company quality standards
  • Maintain accurate project files and documentation throughout each project

What You Bring

  • Experience coordinating commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or construction projects
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Knowledge of commercial glazing systems and aluminum framing is considered a strong asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience using project management or ERP software is considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments
